Show the Wind of God!

God continues to amaze me. He is always in the business of relationship. I am encouraged by the work the Lord is doing here on Abilene Christian University campus. With all of the movement between those who are seeking God, all in different ways, I can't help but be amazed at the incredible God we serve.

Some Hardin Simmons students shared what was going on in their hearts and some of what God has already begun to do. It really encouraging to see that God IS speaking to his people and he is not wait on me to do it! As old friends and warriors for the Lord are relocating, there is incredible hope in Jesus as a friend and warrior on our part.

Looking at Abilene as a current citizen of heaven makes me excited for the power of God to be manifest here in every way. I am thankful for the down payment on the kingdom of heaven that God is putting in the hearts of his church here. I am also thankful for the ever-growing passion in the people he has simply put here for now to transform this place permanently. I am thankful.

Praise the Lord of the heavens, the Creator of the mountains and the seas. Praise the Great friend of the weak and lowly.

Come, let us talk about the many ways the Lord shows His love.

"Can he fail? Is his purpose cut short? Does he bear fruit that lasts not for all time?"

Let us gaze upon His beauty and shake in view of His power. Do not be down-trodden O Abilene of the Winds, but look to your Lord and your God. Quick is love and slow His anger. His peace lingers for generations. Do not fear mere men who come and go. Fear the Lord and exalt Him alone!
